Fisher, H.G. (1870 - 1956)

 
Chemist
Born: 26 January 1870  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 20 July 1956.
H. G. Fisher spent his entire working life at Colonial Sugar Refining Co. Ltd refinery in Glanville, South Australia. He started there as a trainee chemist when the company first opened in 1887 and was promoted to Chemist in 1892. He remained there until his retirement as Head Chemist in 1927. In 189 he was sent to work as a Chemist at their raw sugar mill laboratory in Fiji.
