Born: 1 March 1858 Tain, Rosshire, Scotland. Died: 7 September 1944 Woollahra, New South Wales, Australia. | ||
Andrew Watson Munro helped to found and finance the Women's Hospital, Sydney in 1893. In 1900 it became a teaching hospital of the University of Sydney and during the 1920s Munro urged the establishment of a chair of obstetrics at the University. |
