Description:Journal, 7 January - 21 December 1948 and 8 May - 2 July 1849, kept by Wilcox while junior botanist on HMS "Rattlesnake" which visited Cape York October-November 1848 and in May 1849 sailed from Sydney to survey part of the Louisade Archipelago, includes references to the Aborigines.
