Dulhunty, John Allan (1911 - 1994)

Born: 1 April 1911  New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 7 April 1994  Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia.
John Allan Dulhunty was Reader in Geology at the University of Sydney from 1957 until his retirement in 1973. After this, he and his wife Roma carried out a series of expeditions to Lake Eyre which yielded many important research papers on the sedimentological and geomporphical changes of the lake. Roma also wrote three books about there expeditions using photographs taken by John. The Rare Book and Special Collections Library of the University of Sydney has an archives collection of Roma’s (and John's?) work.
