Duigan, John Robertson (1882 - 1951)

Born: 31 May 1882  Terang, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 11 June 1951  Ringwood, Victoria, Australia.
John Robertson Duigan made the first flight in Australia of a locally designed and built aircraft (1910). A memorial to him was unveiled in 1960 on the Mia Mia-Lancefield road, near the site of this historic flight.
