Born: 26 October 1923  Southampton, England.  Died: 27 October 2005  Victoria, Australia.
Edward (Pete) Saunders was Executive Director of ICI Australia from 1974 to 1985, but joined the company in 1962 as a Chief Works Engineer in 1962. He was also director and board member of numerous private companies throughout his career. Saunders was appointed an Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (FTSE), Institute of Engineers, Australia (FIEAust), Royal Australian Chemical Institute (FRACI) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
