Farquhar, Graham Douglas (1947 - )

Born: 8 December 1947
Graham Douglas Farquhar is Distinguished Professor and Leader of the Environmental Biology Group at the Research School of Biological Sciences, Australian National University, in Canberra. He has published over 200 hundred scientific publications in the field, presented a multitude of invited lectures and talks and has been involved in over fifty scientific committees, societies and groups. Because of his phenomenal output and contribution to science, Farquhar has also received many, many honours and awards including fellowship to the Royal Society and the Australian Academy of Science, the P.L. Goldacre Award from the Australian Society of Plant Physiologists and the Leading Australian Citation Laureate for 2001.
