Born: 9 March 1932  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 22 April 2003  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Eric Marwick Laurenson contributed to both the practices and education of hydrological and water resources engineering in Australia. He was professor of civil engineering at Monash University for twenty-five years.
