George Merrilees Lauri worked for the Great Boulder Perseverance Gold Mine, Fimiston, Western Australia 1908-49, being manager of the reorganised and renamed company, Kalgurli Ore Treatment Co. from 1938. He was associated with the conversion of the treatment plant in 1934 from the brown-cyanide process to a process involving flotation, roasting and cyanidation. |
