Nicola, Nicos Anthony (1950 - )

Born: 1 June 1950  Cyprus
Nicos Anthony (Nic) Nicola is Assistant Director at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research (WEHI), Head and Senior Principal Research Fellow of the WEHI Division of Cancer and Haematology, Research Professor of Molecular Haematology at the University of Melbourne, Adjunct Professor at LaTrobe University and Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland. Like many of his peers, he has contributed widely to numerous scientific committees throughout his career and has been invited to give talks all over the world. Nicola has published over 250 scientific works and has received many honors including the appointment of Commander Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2005.
