Butler, Hildred Mary (1906 - 1975)

Born: 9 October 1906  Elsternwick, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 8 April 1975  Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Hildred Mary Butler investigated the causes of infections during and after childbirth while working at the Baker Medical Research Institute and later the (Royal) Women's Hospital. She recorded her findings in twenty-one papers published both in Australia and overseas.
