Smith, Len (1920 - )

Born: 15 June 1920  Australia
Len Smith worked for the Bureau of Meteorology between 1936 and 1946 as a junior meteorological assistant involved with collection and distribution of weather information in the forecasting section. He specialised in the use of the Australian code 'COMETSYN' (Coded METeorological SYNopsis), and served in the RAAF Meteorological Service, 1941-1946.
