Bruce Forgan joined the Bureau of Meteorology in 1980 and was awarded the World Meteorological Organization's Professor Dr Vilho Vaisala Award in 1997 for a technique that improves global solar radiation measurements. In 1984-1988 he was Officer In Charge of the Baseline Air Pollution Station at Cape Grim in northwest Tasmania. |
