Cornish, Allan William (1910 - 1995)

Meteorologist
Born: 11 November 1910  Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 10 April 1995.
Allan William Cornish joined the Bureau of Meteorology in 1929 as a meteorological assistant, serving in the RAAF Meteorological Service during the Second World War. He left the Bureau after the war and went to the department of supply. He authored Memories of the Bureau of Meteorology 1929–1946, Metarch Papers No. 8, 1996.
