Hoskin, Ernest Sydney (1914 - )

Born: 27 December 1914  North Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Ernest Sydney Hoskin set up the ‘Keith Hindwood Memorial Bird Recording Service' after Hindwood's death in 1971. As manager, his role was to keep Hindwood's field records up to date.

Career Highlights
Born North Sydney, 27 December 1914. AO June 1999 for ornithology of the Sydney region. Associated with the building trade. Art adviser for Birds (Gould League Bird Watchers' Club) 1966-70. After Keith Hindwood's death, set up the 'Keith Hindwood Memorial Bird Recording Service', in which he worked as manager, keeping Hindwood's field records up to date and in 1991 producing an updated version of The Birds of Sydney, County of Cumberland, New South Wales, 1770-1989.
