Geologist
Born: 25 March 1878  East Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 27 September 1944  Melbourne, Victoria.
Daniel James Mahony was Director of the National Museum of Victoria 1931-44 and President of the Royal Society of Victoria 1939-40. He served in the Royal Artillery on the Western Front in the First World War.
