Jessep, Hugh Gordon (1902 - 1971)

 
Food technologist
Born: 1902.  Died: 1 January 1971.
Hugh Gordon Jessep worked in various technical positions with the Rosella Manufacturing and Preserving Company (later Unilever) 1927-67, retiring as Technical and Development Director. He was also Chairman of the Southern Branch of the Institute of Food Technologists and Chairman of the Victorian Branch of the Food Technology Association. Jessep was educated at Melbourne Technical College (AMTC, Public Analyst's Certificate in Foods and Drugs).
