Diggle, John Walter (1938 - 1975)

 
Chemist
Born: 1938  England.  Died: 31 August 1975.
John Walter Diggle was a research Fellow at the Research School of Chemistry, Australian National University (ANU) from 1972 to 1974 and later at the Mineral and Process Division of the National Institute of Metallurgy in South Africa (1974-1975). He was an electrochemist and worked on the formation of alumina films, the electrocrystallisation of zinc dendrites in batteries and electrochemical reactions in non-aqueous solvents. Prior to joining ANU Diggle worked for the Allied Chemical Corporation of New Jersey.
