White, James (1828 - 1890)

Born: 19 July 1828  Stroud, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 13 July 1890  Cranbrook, New South Wales, Australia.
James White brought out 79 French merino sheep belonging to the Australian Agricultural Company from Cowes to New South Wales on the "Fairfield" in 1826. He acquired land in the Hunter River district, including Edinglassie, near Muswellbrook.
