Roberts, Frederick Hugh Sherston (1901 - 1972)

Born: 16 January 1901  Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.  Died: 26 July 1972  Oxley, Queensland, Australia.
Frederick Hugh S. Roberts was Principal Research Officer and Officer-in-charge of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research's veterinary parasitology laboratory at Yeerongpilly, Queensland (1947-1966). Prior to that Roberts worked as veterinary entomologist with the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Stock where studied the control of parasitic diseases in livestock and visited laboratories in North America, Britain, Europe and South Africa. He also lectured part-time in veterinary parasitology at the University of Queensland. In 1945 after the completion of his war service, Roberts was appointed acting-director of research at the division of animal industry.
