Alan Robert Docking was a well respected figure in the field of chemistry in Victoria. He was Director of the Commonwealth Bureau of Dental Standards (1947-1973), a committee member of the Victorian branch of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) for five years, member and chair of the Standing Application Committee (RACI Victorian branch), member and chair of the Charter and By-laws Committee and Honorary General Secretary of the RACI. |
