Pye, Hugh (1860 - 1942)

Born: 1 January 1860  Ascot, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 22 August 1942  Armadale, Victoria.
Hugh Pye was science master at Dookie Agricultural College from 1887 and principal 1894-1916. Following his resignation he was government cerealist until his retirement in 1931 and devoted his full attention to wheet-breeding.
