General practice, Kilcoy 1900-01; general practice, Gladstone 1902-07; postgraduate work, University of Sydney 1908; private practice as a gynaecologist and obstetrician, Brisbane 1909-14 ; medical officer, Australian Imperial Force 1914-19; resumed his private practice 1920-26; medical officer of the Royal Military College 1927-30; medical officer of the Federal Capital Territory 1928-31; wrote official war history of the Australian Army Medical Services (published 1930, 1940 and 1943). Queensland president, British Medical Association 1920. |
