Born: 15 November 1832  London, England.  Died: 7 October 1889  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Julian Edmund Tenison-Woods, a member of the Catholic Church, was a pioneer priest of the south-east of South Australia and made many independent discoveries in geology, palaeontology and zoology.
