Born: 8 September 1848 Strathalbyn, South Australia, Australia. Died: 20 March 1919 Mount Lofty, South Australia. | ||
(Sir) Edward Charles Stirling taught physiology at the University of Adelaide from 1882 and was the Director of the South Australian Museum 1884-1912. He made several collecting expeditions into central and Northern Australia and earlier he had worked as a consulting surgeon. |
