Born: 15 August 1909 Caulfield, Victoria, Australia. Died: 8 October 1960 Rome, Italy.

Austin Burton Edwards was a member of the Mineragraphic Section of the CSIR/O from 1934 and was Officer-In-Charge 1953-60.
