Stewart, John (1832 - 1904)

Veterinary surgeon
Born: 1832  Edinburgh, Scotland.  Died: 15 February 1904  Windsor, New South Wales, Australia.
John Stewart, the son of John (1810-96) and father of James Douglas (1869-1955), migrated to New South Wales in 1860. He established a number of veterinary hospitals and was an inspector of stock. He was the foundation president of the Veterinary Medical Association of New South Wales.
