Born: 12 January 1877  Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: February 1955  Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
Lionel Clive Ball was Chief Geologist, Geological Survey of Queensland 1931-46. He first joined the Geological Survey Office in 1900.
