1995/1996 has taken off at furious pace. Not only have we produced a newsletter with a particularly interesting article by Lori Hefner from the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory in California, but we have also established a STAMA Email List which is the first of its kind to service the science, technology and health care archives fields.

Also, in this newsletter is a report on the International Council on Archives, Provisional Section on University and Research Institute Archives, Science Archives Group meeting in Washington in late August.

As a result, our connection with the international community is much closer than it has ever been, and with it comes the possibility to participate actively in global affairs.
