HMM Victoria visits the
Museum of Victoria
16 July 1997

On July 1, the Swanston Street campus of the Museum of Victoria (MoV) will be closing its doors in order to prepare for reopening on its new site. Over the next two years the collection will be relocated, and new programs and exhibitions planned and developed. Health and medicine are new focus areas for the 'Understanding the Human Mind and Body' team at the MoV.

Members of the Health and Medicine Museums network and other interested individuals, are invited to visit the museum on the afternoon of Wednesday 16 July to hear from collection managers about the problems and logistics of collection movement, to tour some of the stored collection, and to meet members of the team responsible for developing new programs in health and medicine.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Lisa O'Sullivan or Gavan McCarthy on +61 3 9344 9287 by 11 July 1997.
