Division Aeronautics 1942-44; Research officer 1944-47. Senior scientific officer, Aeronautical Research Laboratories, Commonwealth Department of Supply, 1950-55; principal scientific officer 1955-60. Reader in mathematics, University of Western Australia 1960-66; professor 1966-85.
