Doherty, William Michael (1865 - )

Analyst
William Michael Doherty was New South Wales Government Analyst from 1929 to 1930. He first joined the department in 1880 as assistant to the then Analyst Charles Watt. In 1929 he was promoted to Second Government Analyst and retired in September 1930. Doherty wrote important reports and articles on many varied fields including arsenic levels in Coal to the analysis of the Cavendish Banana.
