Ross, Joseph Grafton (1834 - 1906)

Born: 9 June 1834  Kidderminster, Worcestershire, United Kingdom.  Died: 4 July 1906  Bournemouth, United Kingdom.
Joseph Grafton Ross patented a method for 'Improvements in the Manufacture of Alcohol' in 1875. He was secretary and manager of the Colonial Sugar Refining Co., chairman of the Trade Protection Society of New South Wales, a director of the Australian Gaslight Co., the Mercantile Bank of Sydney and the Australian General Assurance Co. and served on the committee of the Chamber of Commerce.
