Lunn, Stewart Edward (1943 - 2001)

 
Electrical engineer
Born: 28 February 1943.  Died: 8 August 2001.
Stewart Edward Lunn played a major part in the development of Australia's telecommunications industry. He worked for two years with NTT and NEC (Japan), with Telecom (Telstra) for close to ten years and as a technical and marketing consultant with Coopers & Lybrand. In 1987 he set up his own business, STM Consulting which was regularly hired by the IT&T industries and government agencies. Lunn was also on the management committee of the State Library of Victoria’s internet service (VICNET). While with Telecom he developed many advance technologies and strategies which helped advance telecommunications in Australia.
