Eggen, Olin Jeuck (1919 - 1998)

Born: 9 July 1919  Wisconsin, United States of America.  Died: 2 October 1998  Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.
Olin Jeuck Eggen was Director of Mount Stromlo Observatory and Professor of Astronomy at the Australian National University from 1966-1977. He was a world recognised expert in the area of optical astronomy.
