Windsor, Harry (1914 - 1987)

Cardiologist and Surgeon
Harry Windsor was cardiac surgeon at St Vincent's Hospital in Sydney for many years and carried out the first (1968) heart transplant in Australia. He was mentor to renowned heart surgeon Victor Chang. Together they set about establishing a national heart transplant programme.
