Thompson, Hubert Charles (c. 1869 - 1953)

Born: c. 1869.  Died: 26 June 1953  Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.
Hubert Charles Thompson was a foundation member of the Royal Australasian Ornithologists Union (RAOU) and an honorary life member. He was an avid ornithological photographer whose work appeared in many publications including Emu and A handbook of the birds of Tasmania. Thompson’s interest in birds was life-long.
