Dove, Hamilton Stuart (c. 1864 - 1941)

Born: c. 1864.  Died: 19 May 1941  Devonport, Tasmania, Australia.
Hamilton Stuart Dove was a prolific contributor of articles to Emu and The Advocate (Devonport) newspaper. He arrived in Australia (Tasmania) from England in around 1890 and initially helped run a farm with his brother. Dove soon moved to Devonport where his love of natural history flourished. He had a special interest in migratory birds.
