Imberger, Jörg (1942 - )

Born: 10 September 1942
Jörg Imberger is Professor of Environmental Engineering at the University of Western Australia and Chair of its Centre for Water Research. He is an avid environmentalist who is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board for Earthwatch. Imberger has received many awards and honours for his services to science and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA), the Academy of Science – Argentina, the Institute of Engineers, Australia (FIEAust) and of the Water Academy. Since 1969 he has worked on over 200 different research projects and has had more than 300 (co-) authored works published.
