Chase, Eleanor Emily (1896 - 1926)

 
Zoologist
Born: 1896  Whittlesea, Victoria, Australia.  Died: 1926  Sydney, Victoria, Australia.
Eleanor Emily Chase was a Lecturer and Demonstrator in Zoology at the University of Sydney. She died at a very early age, so her research output was limited, however Chase did publish one scientific paper. She was a Senate representative on the Board of Directors of the Sydney University Women's Union, a Vice-President of the Sydney University Science Society, Secretary to the Sex Education Committee of the National Council of Women of New South Wales and member of the Linnean and the Royal Societies of New South Wales.
