1944 Assigend to the Royal Australian Force as a Medical Officer. Location: Normandy
1950 Married Gill Taylor. Location: Reading, England
1958 Huntarian Professorship at the Royal College of Surgeons received
1968 Wrote the book Companion to Surgery in Africa. Location: London
1969 Migrated from England to Australia with wife and 5 children
