Bruce Francis Ford worked in the medical profession for many years, including seventeen years as a general practitioner in and around Canberra, despite facing discrimination early in his career due to having cerebral palsy. Ford later moved into rehabilitation and geriatric medicine, working for many years at the Alfred and Caulfield Hospitals in Melbourne. |
