Mushin, Rose (1905 - 2002)

Born: 1905  Poland.  Died: 2002  Israel.
Rose Mushin worked in the Department of Bacteriology at the University of Melbourne. She conducted important research in E. coli and was able to prove that certain strains produce gastroenteritis. She taught both science and agricultural science students, as well as producing many publications. After her retirement in 1970 she moved to Israel where she worked for a veterinary institute, helping to control animal diseases.
