Born: 10 January 1916  Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia.  Died: 1975  Queensland, Australia.
Donald Owen Norris spent his entire working life at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). He worked on legumes, tobacco, tomatoes and coffee, specialising in virus diseases.
