Beryl Ingold was formerly a farmer in Cootamundra, New South Wales. She was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire, 31 December 1979, for her agriculture and community work. On 11 June 2001 she was appointed Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) her service to the rural community in the areas of regional development and education.
