Billings, Evelyn Livingston (Lyn) (1918 - )

Evelyn Livingston (Lyn) Billings was a senior demonstrator in the Anatomy Department of the University of Melbourne. She also worked as a paediatrician. Billings, together with her husband John, developed the Billings Method of birth control during the 1950s and 1960s. The couple have travelled regularly to third world countries to promote and teach the method. Lyn Billings has published widely on the method, including the book The Billings Method: Controlling fertility without drugs or devices.
