Chronology

1978 - 1985	Archivist (mostly part-time) at the University of Melbourne Archives. Worked on the records of The Zinc Corporation Ltd; Conzinc Rio-Tinto Australia Ltd and began investigations into the use of computerised databases for archives.
1978 - 1986	Periodic performances with Live Improvised Music Events (LIME) and experimental percussion group specialising in home-made instruments and found objects.
1981	Bachelor of Arts with Honours (BA (Hons)) completed at La Trobe University
1981 - 1982	Tutor in first year improvisation in the Department of Music at La Trobe University
1983 - 1985	Casual professional music engagements as a double bass player with a variety of groups and orchestras including the Victorian State Opera and the Melbourne Musicians.
1985 -	Professional member of the Australian Society of Archivists Inc.
1985 - 1999	Director (formerly Archivist-in-charge) of the Australian Science Archives Project at the University of Melbourne
1987 -	Convenor of the Science, Technology and Medicine Archives Special Interest Group of the Australian Society of Archivists Inc.
