Turnbull, Stanley Clive Perry (Clive) (1906 - 1975)

Born: 22 December 1906  Glenorchy, Tasmania, Australia.  Died: 25 May 1975  Hawthorn, Vaud, Australia.
Stanley Clive P. (Clive) Turnbull worked for several newspapers, in particular the Melbourne Herald and Argus. He also wrote a number of books of interest to historians of science, including The Aircraft Industry Comes of Age (1945), Wings of Tomorrow (1945, about Australian National Airways) and This Age of Oil: a History of the Petroleum Industry in Australia (1960).
