Pausaecker, K. H. (1923 - 1959)

Organic chemist

K. H. Pausaecker was interested in the chemistry of hererocycles and especially indole. This led to an examination of the attack by free radicals on aromatic and heterocyclic molecules.

Career Highlights

Educated Universities of Melbourne (BSc 1942, MSc) and Oxford (DPhil). Lecturer in Organic Chemistry, University of Adelaide ca 1948; Senior Lecturer in Organic Chemistry 1949-59.
