| Born: 10 February 1768 Dundee, Forfarshire, Scotland. Died: 30 March 1808 Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. | ||
| George Mealmaker was appointed in 1803 by Governor King as a weaver for four years. He supervised the work at the Female Factory, Parramatta, where he put four looms to work. This successful venture earned him a conditional pardon. However, in December 1807 fire partly destroyed the factory. |
